No fixed monthly data cap
TechGeeks plans do not have a fixed monthly data allowance or an automatic cutoff after a set number of gigabytes. Customers may use the connection for normal residential or business internet activity consistent with the selected plan and the Acceptable Use Policy.
Why fair usage applies
Internet access is delivered over shared network capacity. Fair usage protects customers from sustained activity on one connection that materially degrades service for others, especially during congestion or an active network constraint. It is not intended to penalize ordinary streaming, updates, downloads, work, school, gaming, cloud backups, or occasional heavy use.
How use is reviewed
TechGeeks may review repeated, sustained utilization and its measured effect on shared service quality. A single large download or brief usage peak is not, by itself, treated as unfair use. Reviews consider duration, recurrence, congestion, technical cause, subscribed plan, and customer impact.
Customer contact and proportionate action
When practical, TechGeeks will contact the customer, explain the observed impact, and help identify a device, application, security problem, or plan mismatch. If immediate action is needed to protect the network, TechGeeks may apply a temporary and proportionate technical measure only for as long as reasonably necessary.
Network management will not favor or block a lawful application or content category for commercial advantage. Security threats, unlawful activity, abuse, and traffic that risks network availability may be handled under the Acceptable Use Policy.
Business and unusually high demand
A customer with continuous high-volume demand, hosting, surveillance upload, public access, resale, or another specialized use should request a business review. TechGeeks may recommend a different design or plan when the existing service cannot reasonably support the requirement without affecting other customers.
Questions, review, and changes
Customers may ask TechGeeks to explain a fair-usage action or review the service conditions through the verified service-request channel. Material policy changes will be dated and published before they apply, except urgent measures required for security, safety, legal compliance, or active network protection.
