Purpose
The network is intended for lawful residential and business internet use consistent with the subscribed plan and the security of other customers and systems.
Prohibited activity
- Illegal activity or content.
- Unauthorized access, scanning, credential attacks, malware, phishing, or fraud.
- Sending unsolicited bulk messages or operating abusive automated traffic.
- Interfering with network equipment, address assignments, authentication, or another customer.
- Operating a public access or resale service unless the plan and written approval allow it.
- Activity that materially harms network availability, security, reputation, or other users.
Customer security
Customers are responsible for reasonable protection of their devices, WiFi credentials, local network, and account access. Compromised devices or credentials should be reported promptly.
Network management
TechGeeks may investigate harmful traffic and apply proportionate technical controls needed to protect customers, equipment, service availability, and legal compliance. Plan-specific fair-use or traffic-management rules must be disclosed before they are enforced.
Response to violations
Depending on risk and severity, TechGeeks may notify the customer, request corrective action, restrict affected traffic, isolate equipment, suspend service, or terminate service under the approved customer terms. Immediate action may be necessary for active security or safety threats.
Reporting concerns
Potential abuse or compromised service should be reported through the verified support channel with the location, time, observed behavior, and relevant evidence. Do not post credentials or private account information publicly.
